My friends. Happy First Day Of Summer. We get on a plane tomorrow for the East Coast, where I am pretty sure they have never even heard the phrase June Gloom. And when we fly home? It will be July. Yes.

    same! tomorrow, my husband and i are heading to atlanta for my cousin's wedding and will be back in july after going to see his dad in florida. being born and raised in sd, i was sooo happy to wake up to the sun on the first day of summer today. our june gloom just irritates me every year. sweater in the morning and short sleeves mid-day. gah! bring on the heat, dirty south.

    where is your family headed? don't leave us hanging like that! ;)
