While Michelle and I (and Ben and Henry!) were traveling to Big Sur, we had the rad opportunity to stay at and photograph Big Sur Getaway. The place is AWESOME, you guys. Caroline and Werner are wonderful hosts, and their property is so beautiful. They have several vintage trailers (airstream and otherwise), well decorated and appointed for a fun glamping experience. While we were there, Caroline also organized an outdoor dinner with bay area chef Tina Dang, and we took photos of the event! Wildly good food, equally stunning views, and the warmest and most genuine company. It was such a cool evening! And I would really recommend a get away here! Thank you so much Caroline, Werner, Tina, and everyone! All photos by Michelle and I, Rad + In Love!

WHAT A WEEK. It was amazing, you guys. The lack of sleep? Pshaw. It felt like I was 19 again. No problem! Being away from the little guy? Hard, but the three days flew by. Here is a super mini recap:
Amazing wedding one, in Telluride:
Then off to Big Sur:
We were joined by old friends:
And then finally, by Henry and Ben:
I failed to get a good photo of H giving cheech one of his famous hugs. But I did get this one:
We also made some new friends:
And then we shot amazing wedding number two:
I know. RIIIIIIGHT? Goodnight moon:

So, I may have sort of accidentally bought this camera? Oops? I have only shot 1+ roll of film on it. On the first roll that I have had processed, I was pretty pleased with my exposures (yes!) , but need some practice on getting my images in focus through the waist level viewfinder.

I took this pretty one just after the sun hit the mountains while we were photographing a wedding in Ojai. SO EXCITED to shoot more! I might bring it to a family session (at bird park!) on Monday.

I have yet to sort through our (digital) photos from our trip to the Berkshires & New York, but I just got this roll developed and thought I would share a few. I borrowed a cool old film point and shoot from Michelle that I kind of love! The top photo is of Henry & the super awesome Abby, whose wedding we photographed at an AMAZING guesthouse that happens to be a Bauhaus-ish midcentury estate filled with original art and furniture, ON a nature preserve in the Berkshires! The second photo is of the guest house folly on the same property. The last few photos are from our little boat ride up the river, to get from Williamsburg down to DUMBO. Henry was pretty mindblown!

Trip to Sayulita, part iii. In which Aimee and I tromp around town pretending like we are the Sartorialists, find mini Manrays, visit with baby wearing babes, have summer rain fun, and conclude our trip with a horsback ride (aimee and jamie) and making local friends (henry) and cleaning the streets of sayu (henry.)

It was so awesome traveling with Dorian and Aimee. Henry had so many loving hands to play with him and keep him safe. I think he really enjoyed it! We are already plotting on how we can make this little trip a bi annual vacation. Totally reasonable, right?
