Lest you think I am exaggerating:
I have a love hate with gocco. I love it, when it goes right. And so often for me, it doesn't. Usually this means the screen burns wrong and I get splotchy prints. But Yesterday the gocco gods were smiling on me, both screens burned perfectly on the first try- from bitty fine text to the big bold, and I didn't even come close to running out of white ink.
A good day, indeed.
PS for some big baby news see my post today on Hank & Lucy.
Oh yes the gocco gods are fickle!
ReplyDeletei very much like those colors.
ReplyDeleteI hate, hate, hate admitting that I have a Gocco and an entire box of ink and I've used it ONCE in three years. Terrible.

ReplyDeletelooking good lady. i am excited to see it all in person!
ReplyDeletehow frickin' expensive are the supplies now, btw???? I think it's because i have the big size machine so finding screens is a bitch. Am constantly torn between spending ungodly amounts of money to make nice things with the machine I already own and tossing the whole thing in favor of a Yudu.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see them in person!
agreed Celia : those colors are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteMy gocco is incredibly inconsistent. First time was easy as pie...every time since has required more patience than I can usually muster. I, too have thought about the Yudo but I'm still attached to the gocco for some reason.
