Instead of my weekend I offer you my sunday. It is all I got. The morning was productive with projects around the house. I packaged up some little cositas that will be for sale in my shop by then end of the month (these ones are destined for some local shops, more on that later). I was also inspired to paint some birch branches. To exactly what end I am not exactly sure, but ever since last years decorations, birch seems kind of Christmasey to me. But then Ben walked in and did and rain stick impersonation and that kind of ruined it. Not what I was going for. I dunno, is there hope in them? Ideas or suggestions? Angie and I also squeezed in a sunset hike at Cowles (we had to hike down in the dark, just a little. Oops!) Then Ben and I made macaroni and cheese for dinner. I was very proud, having never made home made mac and cheese before. It was easy! And so good. And we have a substantial amount left over. :)

i see you chose to go with the broccoli :-) i don't know why, but i really like pairing (offsetting?) mac n cheese with broccoli, which is why my homemade mac recipe has broccoli inside it!
ReplyDeletecongrats on launching your biz!!
LOVE the sticks! i'm not sure what to say to do with them besides lay them the length of a table or shelf? steve also did rain stick indian chants with my driftwood i've been painting for wedding decorations, boys.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm... Mac & Cheese sounds delightful. I couldn't stop eating yesterday! By 8 o'clock I had to tell myself to just stop. All day- quesedillas, junior mints, cereal, leftover paste, junior mints, cereal, junior mints... I have issues.
