Ben's old music tee collection. You see why I had to marry him? He says anyone who knows Soul Side gets points in his book/is dating themselves.

PS that bottom Hank Williams Jr shirt is the same one Elliot Smith is wearing on Either/Or. I guess one day Ben went to see Smith at The World Beat Center. The venue is tiny, and it was back in the day. Ben walked in (having never heard of Smith before) and they both had the shirt on. Funny.

When I found out I got Lauren for the Accordians & Lace music swap I thought there was no way it was random, especially after our comments. But A. swears it was. Anyways, it was perfect. The two of us are always chatting about music, I could have made her 10 mixes, it was sooooo hard to narrow it down.

Of course I had as much fun with the packaging as the music. You can download the zip file of the tracks here*, and see below for the order in case it got jumbled. Nice long weekend with Ben's mom. She is so easy to have around. We sleep in, sit in the sun and read, shop a little, putter around the house, eat out and in, and walk around the neighborhood. (Me, escaping to the guest room to work a little when I think no one will notice.)
