I couldn't tell you all about the amazing rocking chair we scored. It might have seemed a little odd before The News. The chair collection around here is getting a kinda out of hand.
Saturday we spent the (insanely beautiful) Saturday celebrating Britty's birthday, at our favorite neighborhood park. Not a better way to spend the day.
Last years snow flakes! I love them so much that next year, I will upgrade to some handmade felt ones. More permanent?
Speaking of felt. Carinna and I planned on crafting with this lovely selection, but ran out of time. Later this week, I hope. Ben says the green isn't a very Christmasey shade. What does he know.
Sunset hike with Angie. Kind of our new weekend thing.
It might have been 80 degrees out this weekend. But that is not deterring me from feeling Holidayish. Can you tell?
Your house is the perfect amount of Holidayish.
ReplyDeleteI love love love love these photos.
ReplyDeleteI love all these pictures! It's nice to see the sun and familiar views, little pieces of home while the rain pounded down on NY this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be chill how Manny is chill.
ReplyDeleteLove the tree and all the festive decorations. Also loved the quail card, will have to check out Cactus and Quail again!
ReplyDeleteManny and those tiny boots! And wasn't the weather this weekend wonderful?! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteI have those same little boots for my someday baby!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the photo of all your animal friends gathered round. My kitty lays under the tree curled up on the tree skirt just like yours.
You are my sunshine.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, that very green and that very orange are my very own favorite Christmas colors.
Jamie! I'm sorry I missed you at Starlite. My lil' sister was in town (little as in under 21) so Francis went stag. I hope to meet you soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a great holiday :)
Christina
the weather is *kind of* deterring me from feeling holiday-ish. but I'm not complaining ;)
ReplyDeletethe baby animal lineup! the quail card! loving it
ReplyDeleteYeah, when you mentioned the heater I was wondering if we were living in the same weekend. Because it was not festively cold here at all. But I AM NOT complaining, because being able to get out of bed and wear just one layer of clothes is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThebootsthebootstheboots!
ReplyDeleteMy cat curls up under the tree like that, too. And no, Ben doesn't know what he's talking about. That's a lovely green for Christmastime.
Your house looks lovely. I wish I was feeling more motivated to decorate. At least we got the tree up, though.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! AND: pretend you are in the southern hemisphere! Despite a couple of Christmases in the cold, I just can't get the holiday feeling unless it's late afternoon sundowners, watermelon round the pool and lazy hot days.
