My first thought on previously seeing these shelving beauties around the internets was "vintage, hard to find." And I stopped admiring there. I don't need another impossible desire.
Then when this post popped up in my reader I thought "I must be looking at a Scandinavian blog. Surely impossible to find in the US"
Not so! From A Merry Mishap "For those of you living in Scandinavian countries, this is nothing new, but for a long time I didn't think it was possible to buy String in the US. Fortunately, I was wrong."
Rejoice.

Hmm. I know just the place for these.
ReplyDeleteWhat if I told you we were seriously looking at a tiny cabin in Pipes Canyon, that it's perched on its own mountain above the mesa, surrounded by boulders, and a ten minute drive from Pappy's? AND THAT IT IS FILLED WITH THE MOST INSANE ORIGINAL MID-CENTURY FURNITURE AND TRAPPINGS FROM 1961?!
ANDDDD, What if we didn't live there year-round and, say, needed the occasional, pre-approved, marvelous weekend renters? JUST SAYING.
I need shelves. Or to buy less stuff, so i don't need shelves anymore. Oh well, I surely need an Eames chair.
ReplyDeleteOh those shelves on that grey wall. Want.
