Produce.

After what seems like ages of being on a waiting list, we finally have our CSA [community supported agriculture] membership and made our first pick up.  For those not in the know; we pay a membership fee and receive a box of produce weekly from a local [organic] farm.  In order to get the best bang for our buck, and the best variety, we are sharing the weekly delivery of a large box with our friends who live on the same block as us, and we each pay 15 dollars a week.  The box is supposed to be enough to feed 3-4 adults.  Which works well because we are each 2 adults.  The box, it was a bounty.

oranges
apples
bell peppers
basil
lots of different lettuce and salad mix
cilantro
chard
beets
strawberries [a ton]
bok choy
sweet potatoes
and a few other greens [kale?] that I don't remember.

And I am sure I am forgetting stuff.  Really. It was a lot.
I am very, very excited.
