yeah. we live in southern california.
this is the view in our bedroom.
this was the view thursday night in Joshua Tree before our wedding. Our inn was swamped with these *kinda* scary vultures. There were, like, dozens, and dozens, and dozens of them. Seriously a lot. Luckily they were gone the next morning. Just passing through I guess.
It occurs to me I haven't really gone through the whole wedding. As some of you have yet to actually have your wedding [I assume I have some readers planning?] Maybe this could be helpful...... From a how the hell did the whole thing work without any vendors stand point? Or does that sound tedious and boring? is that just my way out to find things to post about without doing research.....Hm.
Oh definitely do a run down! That would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'd love more information! My guy and I are meandering towards getting engaged, and I love seeing great wedding information that isn't totally insane. I'm also curious about where exactly in J Tree you held the wedding, if you don't mind sharing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a run down, for sure. My girlfriend and I are planning a DIY wedding next year in an old farmhouse (with an amazing barn attached, of course!) in Maine. We really enjoy reading your blog and could always stand to learn more/get some tips! thanks, lauren
ReplyDeleteAre you f'ing joking? We want all the details!
ReplyDeleteIt's nagging at me that I haven't really done that. Ah well.
K. I will work on it. Sorry Rachel, I have been meaning to do a post about our AWESOME venue. It is Spin and Margie's Desert Hideaway. More on that later, of course.
ReplyDeleteLauren- Damn you people not on the west coast who have access to barns. Daaaaaaamnnnnn youuuuu! Not really. I am just jealous.
Are you kidding? I wanna hear. Now. Please.
ReplyDeleteAnd East Side, it's nagging me too. That you haven't told us all about your wedding I mean. Get a move on, I wanna hear. Now. Please?
