We had some nice summer like weather, and I have been drinking smoothies for breakfast non stop. Ben and I hung out in the yard alot, catching up on reading, cuddling the dogs, playing ping pong, and eating dinners on the grass. Why are sandwiches always better when someone else makes them for you? Especially when Carinna makes them? I find myself puttering around in the baby's room a lot. It is so cute in there! This rad little shop opened up in our neighborhood, they sell vintage & "upcycled" furniture & home stuff. The best part is they are on a previously unused lot and the whole structure is "upcycled".... Old shipping containers. Rad!

ReplyDeleteupas & 32nd in north park...
thank you, jamie! i'm in golden hill, so finding out about stuff like this always makes me happy.
ReplyDeletebtw, now i want a sandwich for lunch. extra avocado! >_<
It's just a scientific fact about sandwiches. D used to make them for me and have them waiting when I got home from swimming (starving, naturally). I'm pretty sure those are still the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted.
ReplyDeletethats it. i am totally having dinner in the yard on the grass. that sounds beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, that store is awesome! In a tiny country town where my grandparents lived, there is a similar place where all the stuff is stored in trailers and you have to open each one like you are some kind of trucker to reveal the hidden treasure. You never know what's going to be inside - furniture, books, crockery. It's the best shop ever.
ReplyDeleteThat store looks phenomenal! Opening and uncovering so many treasures... like Christmas every weekend, right?
