Well the weekend? Lemons. After spending our Christmas with colds, Thursday night Ben and I (at the exact same moment, seemingly) came down with the worst sore throats that either of us have ever experienced. We are still on the mend (at least I think we are getting better...) So all of our holiday time has been spent cooped up lazing around the house. Watching TV, squeezing tons of lemons for hot honey lemon juice, sleeping, reading, taking care of each other. While I wish we both felt better, having days after days of downtime wih my sweetie by my side isn't exactly the worst thing in the world, either. But, hoping to be back to work tomorrow, back to regular posting, back to feeling good!
Lemons by poodly.
i'm sorry. feel better.
ReplyDeleteUhggg, I have the same thing!! It's brutal!! Feel better Mama :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I got the same thing! I still have a runny nose and sore throat. Being filipino, I'm so used to using squeezed calamansi juice from my parents' tree (which is a workout since calamansi is so tiny)...now I want to try hot honey lemon juice, to mix it up! Anyway, I hope you, the baby and your husband get well soon. :)
ReplyDeleteglad you're starting to feel better!
ReplyDeleteoh no! i hope that you feel better...downtime together is amazing, even IF you're sick through the whole thing...although it's a bit better when you just play hookie for a day together, eh?
